DESCRIPTION AND USAGE

Anti-algae wall paint with fine particle-size quartz sand for the protection and decoration of plaster and walls in general (both interior and exterior). The product is easy to apply and provides good hiding power and resistance to weathering. It complies with EN 15457 (resistance to the growth of fungi) and EN 15458 (resistance to the growth of algae) and prevents the formation of mould and algae in the paint film. APPLICATION CYCLES

New walls

Apply a coat of TORINO PRIMER by brush. After a minimum of 24 hours apply two coats of TORINO PLUS QUARTZ.

Deteriorated walls with chalking old paint

Completely remove areas of peeling paint; brush carefully with a metal brush and wash with potable water at low pressure; leave the surface to dry well. Repair the areas removed with hydraulic or premixed mortar and leave to cure for a minimum of 10-15 days. Apply a coat of TORINO Primer by brush. After a minimum of 24 hours apply two coats of TORINO PLUS QUARTZ.

Walls with old paint in good condition:

wash with potable water at low pressure; leave the surface to dry well. Apply one or two coats of TORINO PLUS QUARTZ.If the surface requires light consolidation, apply a coat of SGC Primer by brush (dilution 600% with water).

IMPORTANT INFO

  • Do not apply on fresh or very alkaline plaster; allow to dry, harden and cure for at least 3-4 weeks.

  • Protect from hard rain, if possible, for the first few days after application.

  • Do not allow to freeze.

  • Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.

  • Apply at temperatures between 5 and 35°C.

  • Do not apply in direct sunlight.

  • Do not apply to damp substrates.

  • Wash tools thoroughly with water after use.

  • Coverage depends on substrate absorption
